Nicole's First Day in the Hospital

Today, Brooke, my homestay sister, and I worked in the ICU of the King Narai hospital in Singburi. P'Tong was a super friendly nurse who took care of us for the day. (Note: You put P in front of someone's name if they are older and you want to show respect). She even brought us all the way to the IT center to get our own wifi passwords. She really wanted this picture to show her friends and she even held our hands!
The coolest thing we got to see today was a spinal tap. I never really thought about how much I take gloves and IV fluids for granted in the hospital. They use both very sparingly here because of expenses.
We also met a pharmacist who studied in Scotland. She was saying her friend wanted to find a husband in America and asked if we had any brothers. She also has a Scottish accent, which was unexpected and hilarious.

After coming home we helped P'Dui cook dinner.  I love Pad Thai!
Here are some pictures of our house!
Our host mom let us borrow these dresses! Brooke and I are a little too excited to wear them.
