Orientation Day 3

Today, we had to wake up by 6:20 am to feed the monks. They walk through the village barefoot, even though the ground is incredibly rocky. Each monk had a bowl and we gave them each a scoop of rice. 

Afterwards, we went to a local market and tried to buy groceries in Thai. Our host family is either related to or friends with everyone. One of their friends made us all free drinks. 

We ate soup noodles on the way home. 

Everyone is packing up and getting ready to leave for their host families, except for Marianne and Kelly who get to stay here. 

For our last meal here, everyone cooked their own noodle dish!

It was so interesting that the family had these huge speakers but only AC in two rooms.
